Music as Pattern.

Music as Pattern is a series of videos based on the second and third year music theory classes I taught at Southeast Missouri State University. They include most of the material I presented in those classes in a reorganized form. They require a knowledge of basic college music theory that includes things like keys, chords, chromaticism, modulation etc. While this series includes the material taught, it by necessity excludes those parts of the class contributed by the students: assignments, discussion, and research papers.

This series is a work in progress. I make the videos as I need them for class and post them to YouTube shortly thereafter.
